Monet's Venice Twilight
On February 25th we are painting a rendition of Monet's famous "Venice Twilight"It is said that Monet was attempting to capture the experience of a blind person who is suddenly granted sight. the building depicted is a famous Italian island church. During the fall of 1908, when this painting was created, Monet was losing his sight to cataracts and created some of his best works!
