What Are Some Ways To Celebrate GALentine’s Day 2021?!

Valentine’s Day will be here before you know it! Flowers, candy, hearts, pink, red, love, and more! This traditional holiday is a time to show your sweetie pie, just how much they mean to you. While Feb 14th is widley-known as the day of love, the day that comes before it, may be less-known, BUT just as important: It’s GALentine’s Day!
That’s right — It’s almost that time of year - the one where we celebrate ladies being ladies and all of our very best friends in a little holiday called, ‘Galentine’s Day’!
This holiday, first introduced to the world in 2010 on a television sitcom, no less!
As the name would suggest, Galentine's Day is a celebration of female friendship. The term was popularized following the release of an episode of US sitcom Parks and Recreation. Leslie Knope, played by Amy Poehler, explains its meaning while throwing an annual Galentine's Day bash for her friends.

While the name, which is a catchy play on words, has likely been used here and there for decades, it’s been steadily becoming a more popular day for a girls’ night out (or in).
