Creating a Masterpiece of Teamwork: Hosting a Successful Corporate Painting and Wine Event
For companies, group painting has a hidden benefit: It encourages team members' brains to work in new ways, and jump-starts creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
At Pinot's Palette, we're flexible, detail-oriented and offer a variety of turnkey options. Our team building events are easily and frequently adapted for client appreciation, fundraising events and office holiday parties.
Hosting a corporate painting and wine event can be a fun and effective way to promote teamwork and build camaraderie among team members.
** By following these tips when you're ready to book with us, you can ensure that your event is a success and leaves a lasting impression on all who attend.
(1) Plan ahead
Choose a date and time that will be convenient for everyone, then book your studio space ASAP so you can get your preferred choice.
(2) Choose a theme
While it's not necessary, we suggest consider choosing a theme or subject for the painting that relates to your company or industry. This will help to make the event more meaningful and engaging for participants. Ask us about custom paintings, too. We can work with you to create a one-of-a-kind work of art that depicts something about your company, like the logo. Many companies choose a large mural painting that can be hung in the office!
(3) Select wine and snacks.
We’ll handle the wine and you're welcome to have snacks on hand to keep participants fueled and hydrated throughout the event. Talk with us about the variety of wines we have to suit different tastes and preferences. If you're looking to cater the event, ask about recommendations for places others have successfully used before :)
(4) Encourage teamwork.
One of the main objectives of a corporate painting and wine event is to promote teamwork and collaboration. Encourage participants to work together and help each other out during the painting process.
(5) Don't worry about perfection.
Remind participants that the event is not about creating a perfect masterpiece, but rather about having fun and enjoying the process of creating something together. Encourage them to embrace mistakes and experiment with different techniques and colors.
(6) Provide opportunities for reflection and feedback.
After the event, provide opportunities for participants to reflect on their experience and provide feedback of how the event went. This can help to identify areas for improvement and ensure that future events are even more successful.
(7) Don’t Stress!
We’ll provide you with just about everything you’ll need. From paint, canvases, brushes, and easels, to wine, glasses, music, and of course, the instructions, we take a lot off of your plate. Clean up and set up is all on us, as well!
