Painting it Forward for Forgotten Veterans
June 6th, 1944. D-Day at Normandy signaled the Western Allied effort to liberate Europe from Nazi Germany; a stand against genocide and fight for freedom from Nazi oppression. Pinot's Palette honored veterans on the anniversary of D-Day by painting "Remember."While it is easy to forget the past in the consumer-focused digital age, Pinot's Palette remembered forgotten veterans and helped Girl Scout Troop 57005's quest to raise funds to provide proper headstones for forgotten veterans. Pinot's Palette South Hill Studio matched funds raised for the cause, and thanks everyone who contributed to our special event.
Pinot's Palette South Hill studio is locally owned and managed by veterans with over 75 years of combined service. We know what it means to serve, and remember those who came before.
Keep a look out for future Paint-it-Forward events honoring our military veterans and others that serve our communities every day.
Take care and hope to see you soon!
