All About Our ‘Paint Kit Drive’ This Holiday Season
It’s the giving season and we’re always looking for ways to give back to this amazing community we get to be a part of. Join us this season as we offer our Paint Kits for purchase for a great cause!Support your favorite non-profit to help local families.
When you give someone the gift of a painting class, they will be so thankful for the time to just sit and create and not worry about anything else. There has been a steady increase in depression, trauma, suicide, and other mental health issues (*as well as abuse) since the beginning of the pandemic, so now, more than ever, a distraction and positive way to unwind from life’s stress is needed.
The kits will include everything needed to make the artwork, such as a canvas, paints, brushes, and of course the guided directions. This is such a simple, yet meaningful thing to give this time of year and will undoubtedly change someone’s day for the better. Thank you all so much for the support of our studio these last 2 years, as well as all of the support you have shown to local small businesses, including the non-profits who will recieve your special and thoughtful gift this season.

*** NEW PHOEBE HOUSE ***
Tacoma-based New Phoebe House’’ vision is to help mother’s stop cycles of addiction, homelessness, and family violence reunify in a healthy way and change the course of their children and future generations
The doors ofNew Phoebe House first opened in 2002 in response to the effects of meth addiction on families, and continues to provide a safe place for women who are experiencing homelessness and looking to recover from addiction (to any substance or chemical), where they can reunify with their children. For up to two years, basic daily needs are provided so each mother can focus on her recovery, education, job skills, parenting skills, and continuing steps to be able to support her children in a stable home.

Puyallup/Sumner-Based New Beginnings’ mission is to empower at-risk mothers by providing them with mentorship and housing, equipping them to make positive decisions in their lives and the lives of their children.
New Beginnings Mission is to empower survivors and mobilizes community awareness and action to end domestic violence.
