Staff Spotlight: Joan Wright
Tell us about yourself: I was born and raised in Tulsa. I went to Bishop Kelley and graduated with an advanced degree in Art from the University of Tulsa. From there, I became a graphic artist and moved to Florida for an apprenticeship at Disney. I became a teacher after that and have taught for 25 years, both art and special education.

Other hobbies besides painting:
When I’m not on stage at Pinot’s Palette, I love being on stage as a stand-up comic in and around Oklahoma. I have two teenage boys I am really proud of. I enjoy my time doing art, remodeling my home, fostering abused dogs, and spending time with my family. I have the best life possible!
