Meet the Owners Part 2 of 2
Welcome to part two of the two part introduction!
I'm Tracie Williams, Owner/Operator of Pinot's Palette Norfolk. I was born and raised in Ridgecrest, a small town in California, where I met my Navy Husband. We moved to Virginia 10 years ago and had always planned to return to California, as that's where most of our family is located. I was formerly in the medical profession as an X-ray tech, then when I got pregnant with my youngest daughter I decided to be a stay at home Mom and did some home daycare.
After My daughter started elementary school I got back out into the work force but this time in the retail world as a Broker between the Military Exchange system and outside companies such as Macy's and Brooks Brothers. When My Husband Sean was getting ready to retire from the Navy we were trying to figure out what we were going to do and where we were going to do it from. We decided to stay in Virginia and plant our roots here. Sean had always wanted to own his own business and was looking into different franchises. I told him, I had no interest in doing this and that if I was going to leave my job it would have to be for something that was fun and I would enjoy doing. We went to New York City so Sean could attend the Franchise Expo and when I saw Pinot's Palette in the booklet I told Sean to GO SEE THEM!!!! I would love this!!! He went the next day and met Craig and Charles and the rest is history.
