Meet Caroline!

Hello!!!! My name is Caroline and I am originally from Binghamton, NY but am currently a student at SUNY New Paltz which I couldn't love more. I live for the outdoors and try to hike as much as I can as often as I can! Hopefully one day I'll be able to say that I've done all 46 high peaks in the Adirondacks and maybe even Mt. Everest although that one is a lofty goal I must admit. I spend most of my time working towards a Criminology degree and I hope to someday advocate for crime victims and help them work through trauma in ways that will make them stronger and empowered from their experiences. This job for me is a chance to escape that world a little bit and share my passion with the rest of you, although I truly do believe that art is a wonderful way of healing in itself. All my life I've breathed color and swirls that dance onto the page from my fingertips. There's just something about letting your fingers do the speaking and creating something that would otherwise be hard to express. Hopefully after your experience at Pinot's Palette you can say that you have also basked in the glory that is painting and letting loose on a blank canvas and can be proud of it! Just remember, all art is art that matters, never stop creating, and most importantly, always enjoy yourself!
