How much does a class cost?

Classes are 2 or 3 hours and cost $37 to $47 respectfully. Special event classes such as Project Pet is $60.00

When do I need to arrive for my event?

Doors open 30 minutes before class starts to allow time for you to get settled in and mingle before the painting starts

Is there reserved seating?

Yes, we have your easel set up for you at your spot before you arrive for class. If you have friends attending the class that you’d like to sit by, you can let us know when you book the class or you can send us an email (…just make sure to give us at least 24 hours notice).

What is the cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is as follows: all cancellations for classes can have a reschedule into a future class or a credit value of the class that is good for up to 6-months. Please contact the studio for private party cancellation policy. Due to the nature of our classes we do not give refunds only class credits as stated upon making your reservations

What should I bring to class?

We provide the canvas, easel, brushes, paints, and apron for the class. All you need to bring are appetizers you might want during the class. We have plates, napkins, and silverware for your use. We do not have the ability to reheat food. **Kentucky state law prohibits BYOB. We do not allow outside beverages.** Our studio features a bar where you can purchase beer, wine by the glass or the bottle, several varieties of bourbon & vodka, as well as specialty drinks.

I don't have any artistic talent. Will I be able to complete the painting?

Absolutely! Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to completing your masterpiece by the end of class. There are no mistakes, but Acrylic paint dries quickly, making 'happy accidents' easy to fix and perfect.

When does the next month's calendar of events get posted?

We try to post the next month's calendar around the 15th of the month. If you'd like to receive an email each month when our new calendar is posted, be sure to add yourself to our email list.

What should I wear to class?

No dress code here...dress casual or dress up. We will provide you with an apron but painters have been known to get involved in their work of art. Don't wear anything you would be heartbroken to get paint on!

Can a minor attend if I promise he/she won't be drinking?

YES! Minors are allowed with an adult. Please keep in mind others around you may be consuming adult beverages so some language may be more advanced.

Can I bring my own wine or drinks?

No- Kentucky law prohibits BYOB (including non alcoholic drinks, tumblers and bottled water), but we have a full bar for your enjoyment!

Are drinks included in the cost of my class?

Just like other entertainment venues, drinks are additional. The Kentucky ABC prohibits any establishment to give away alcoholic beverages for free. We do provide water & free popcorn!

Do you offer classes for kids?

Yes! We offer 1-2 "all ages" classes per month.

Weather Policy

If conditions warrant us to cancel class or If you decide not to come to class due to weather, we'll issue you a credit valid for 6 months.

Are we required to wear masks?

YES. Wearing a mask is mandatory in the state of Kentucky. We also take temperatures for all employees and customers. Masks and gloves are also available.

How many people can you seat?

Usually we can seat up to 45 people. For social distancing, we are seating 14.

Can we bring our own snacks?

Absolutely! If you'd even like to order in feel free to do that too! We have prewrapped silverware for your convenience. Beverages are not BYOB due to KY ABC offices.

What is a virtual event?

Virtual events are filmed live or pre recorded (as respectfully noted when making your reservations) of our Chicago and Washington State locations.

Do you have sanitizing stations?

Yes! We have both hand sanitizer and soap for our guests.

Do you have Take Home Kits?

Yes! Check out our SHOP page on the website. Take Home Kits come with canvas, instructions, paint, water cup, paper plates for mixing and paper towel

Do you offer donations to silent auctions and fundraisers?

Unfortunately, at the present time we cannot offer donations.

Do you do private events?

Yes! We love to party! Private events/parties are available for groups with a minimum of 12 people and a maximum of 20. There is a $250 deposit as well. Call us for more details at 859-245-0004

Is there an age limit?

No, minors should be accompanied by an adult. Some conversations may be more advanced by other painters.

What my group does not have enough people for a private event?

For a private party your group would need a minimum of 12 people. We suggest joining a public class. Private events who do not have 12 individuals painting will receive the cost difference on their final receipt.

What are the current Covid 19 conditions?

We are following the CDC and State Guidelines. As the situation is fluid, protocol can change and will be updated in our FAQs

Do you do off site events?

No. For the best Pinot's Palette Experience in studio classes are suggested as we have music playing, studio lighting and real glasses for beverages.

Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are highly encouraged so we can have your seats ready for the best possible experience

Are masks required?

We are following the CDC and State Guidelines. Guests are encouraged to wear masks when moving around the studio.
