What is the cancellation policy for class reservations?

If you cannot attend, please contact us before your event; email is preferred. We can issue a studio credit valid for 60 days. No credit is issued for no-shows without communication. Refunds requested more than 24 hours before the event are available minus processing fees: $10 per transaction of $100 or less, or 10% for transactions over $100. Paint kits, video kits and virtual kits are non-refundable once ordered.

What happens if I am late?

Classes begin on time so everyone can follow the artist together. If you realize you will be late, please contact us before the class rather than arriving after instruction has begun. We can issue a studio credit to reschedule. No-shows without communication are not eligible for credit.

I have never painted before. Can I do this?

Absolutely! No painting experience is needed. Our artists guide you step-by-step through the featured painting and are available to help throughout the class. Come ready to have fun!

How do I sign up for a class?

Visit our event calendar, choose the painting or creative experience you want to attend and select “Add Painting to Cart.” Follow the checkout instructions to complete your reservation.

Do you take walk-ins?

Scheduled classes require advance registration. Walk-ins are welcome during designated Open Studio hours when available. Check our event calendar for current Open Studio dates and times.

Can I attend with someone else and not paint?

Everyone attending a scheduled painting class needs a paid reservation. This allows us to provide comfortable seating, supplies and the best experience for all guests.

When do I need to sign up?

We recommend reserving early. Classes with no registrations may be canceled 24 hours in advance, and online registration closes 30 minutes before class begins.

What are your hours?

Open Studio DIY is generally available Wednesday through Friday from 12–5 PM, subject to the event calendar. We are also open for scheduled public classes and events. Check our calendar for current availability.

Can I bring my own drinks?

Non-alcoholic beverages are welcome. Guests may also bring sealed bottles of wine for a $10 corkage fee per bottle. Please bring wine to the bar when you arrive. No other outside alcohol is permitted.

Can I bring in outside food?

Outside food is not permitted during public classes. We offer a variety of food for purchase from our in-studio menu.

Do you have food and drinks?

Yes! We offer a full bar, mocktails and a food menu. Food and beverages are available for purchase separately during your visit.

What should I wear to class?

Dress comfortably—or dress up for your night out! We provide aprons, but acrylic paint can stain clothing, so we recommend wearing something you won’t mind getting a little creative in.

How early should I arrive?

Please arrive 15–20 minutes before your scheduled class. This gives you time to check in, order food or drinks and get settled before painting begins.

Is there an age limit?

All ages are welcome at Pinot’s Palette Elk Grove! Little Brushes events are specially designed for younger kids and families, but kids and teens are welcome at all classes unless otherwise specified.

Do you offer kids birthday parties in Elk Grove?

Yes! Pinot’s Palette Elk Grove hosts private kids birthday parties and painting parties for children and families. We provide the creative experience, supplies and instruction so everyone can enjoy the celebration.

Do you offer private parties?

Yes! We host private painting and creative events for birthdays, anniversaries, bachelorettes, celebrations, kids events and other special occasions. Events can be customized for your group.

Do you offer corporate team-building events?

Yes! Pinot’s Palette Elk Grove offers creative corporate team-building experiences for companies, departments and work groups. Events can be hosted in our studio or brought to your location.

Do you offer family activities in Elk Grove?

Yes! Families can enjoy painting and other creative experiences together at Pinot’s Palette Elk Grove. Look for Little Brushes, family events and Open Studio options on our calendar.

What is Open Studio?

Open Studio is a self-guided creative experience where you can choose from available DIY projects and create at your own pace. Check the Elk Grove calendar for current dates, times and project options.

Do you offer mobile events?

Yes! We can bring the Pinot’s Palette experience to your location. Mobile events are a great option for corporate events, celebrations and groups that prefer to host at their own venue. Contact us for availability and details.

What activities do you offer besides painting?

Depending on the schedule, Pinot’s Palette Elk Grove offers painting, candle making, mosaic projects and other creative experiences. Check our event calendar for current options.

Is Pinot’s Palette good for a date night?

Yes! Our painting and creative events offer a fun, interactive alternative to a traditional dinner or movie date. Enjoy a project together along with food, cocktails, wine, beer or mocktails from our bar.

Do you offer candle-making classes?

Yes! Candle making is available during select classes and Open Studio events. Create your own scented candle and take home something uniquely yours. Check our Elk Grove calendar for availability.

Do you offer mosaic workshops?

Yes! We offer select mosaic projects and workshops, including creative mosaic experiences for adults, families and groups. Check our Elk Grove calendar for current projects and dates.

How do I get my take-home painting kit?

Take-home painting kits can be picked up at Pinot’s Palette Elk Grove Wednesday–Friday from 12–5 PM or anytime the studio is open for a scheduled class. Contact us if you need to arrange another pickup time.

How does the recorded painting video work?

Purchase a recorded painting video to paint at home at your own pace. Video access lasts 30 days and must be activated within 7 days of purchase. Supply kits are also available and include canvas, paint, a disposable apron, mixing plates and setup instructions, with or without brushes. Large kits include a 16"x20" or 10"x30" canvas; small kits include an 11"x14" canvas.

Do you sell gift certificates?

Yes! Gift certificates can be purchased online or at the studio in any amount and can be used toward classes, products and eligible purchases at the bar.

Can I request a certain painting?

Absolutely. If you see a painting you love but it is not currently on the calendar, let us know. We may be able to add it to a future class.

How do I see painting options for a private event?

Is there reserved seating?

Yes. If you want to sit with friends, enter their names in the seating request box during checkout. PERKS Members may receive reserved seating at designated tables when available. Seats cannot be held without payment.

Where is Pinot’s Palette Elk Grove and where do I park?

We are located on Elk Grove Blvd in Old Town Elk Grove, across from Bank of America. Ample parking is available in both the front and rear of the building.

How far in advance is your calendar posted?

We typically have at least two months of upcoming classes available online. Join our newsletter to receive updates when new classes and events are added.

Do you offer fundraising events?

Yes! Pinot’s Palette Elk Grove hosts creative fundraising events on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Contact the studio to learn about hosting a fundraiser for your school, nonprofit, team, club or organization.
