Black Light Painting

What could possibly be more fun than painting and drinking? Try painting and drinking in the dark under black lights with neon colors!

Over the last week, we did a series of black light paintings here at Pinot’s Palette. We blacked out the windows, brought in a bunch of black lights, turned off the normal lights and did some painting in the dark. To say it was fun is a complete understatement. It gave the studio such an awesome new feel. The atmosphere was electric with everything glowing around you. People wore bright clothing, glow sticks, and black light makeup to intensify this cool aura. It also put a whole new spin on painting. You have to trust yourself and the brush a lot more in the dark, but the results are spectacular! This is something we can’t wait to do again and when we do, you must come give it a try.
