Frequently Asked Questions

I purchased a take home Paint Kit, when can I pick it up?

Please allow 1 business day to be processed. Kits can be picked up any time we have a class going on: www.pinotspalette.com/cda/classes, doors open 30 minutes before class begins.

How do I sign up for a class?

Signing up is easy. Click the "Event Calendar" link on the top of the page to view our calendar of paintings. Select which painting you would like to paint and click "Add Painting to Cart." Follow the on-screen directions to complete the order. Feel free to call us at 208-930-4763 if you have trouble completing your order and we will be more than happy to help you over the phone.

What does a class cost and what does it include?

Our paint classes range from $33 - $46, depending on the duration of the class. All classes include instruction by our local artists, a 16x20" cotton canvas, and use of our brushes, paint, easels, and aprons. Be sure to add yourself to our monthly email list for exclusive discounts and promotions!

When do I need to show up for my class?

We open our doors 30 minutes before the class, so feel free to come early to mingle with friends. All of our classes begin promptly at the scheduled time, so we recommend arriving 15-20 minutes beforehand to get settled.

What do I need to bring with me?

ID's will only be needed if you plan to purchase alcoholic beverages at our bar. We provide everything you need to create your own masterpiece. Wine, beer, cider, canned liquor drinks, and nonalcoholic beverages are available for purchase at our bar, and you're more than welcome to bring any food or snacks that you'd like to munch on while you sip and paint. We have plates, napkins, and utensils available for you to use.

What is your cancellation policy?

ALL SALES ARE FINAL - NO REFUNDS will be issued for reservations. However, if you cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice your payment will be turned into a store credit, valid for 60 days. Please email us to cancel. If you no-show or don't give at least 24 hours’ notice, you can request a class credit less a $12/person rebooking fee. By completing the check-out process you agree to this policy.

Is there reserved seating?

Absolutely! We always make a seating chart for our public classes, that way we can ensure that your group is seated all together. Be sure to let us know who you'd like to be with when you make your reservation. All reservations paid together will automatically be seated together.

What if I have zero artistic ability?

Not a problem! Our talented artists make it easy for ANYONE to complete the painting. All of our paintings were created for people who have NEVER picked up a paintbrush, so you'll be in good hands! Don't believe us? Check out our Facebook page, where we always post a group photo of everyone with their paintings on our stage. They all always look beautiful!

When will you post next month's calendar?

We release our new calendars on the first day of the month. If you'd like to be alerted when the calendar goes live, feel free to add yourself to our monthly email list. That way you'll get first dibs at signing up for classes before they sell out, exclusive offers, and a discount!

What should I wear to class?

We provide a smock for you to wear, but people have been known to get some paint on their clothes from time to time. We recommend wearing something you're comfortable in, that you wouldn't be devastated if you got a bit of paint on. But hey if you do get paint on your clothes, it just gives you another excuse to come back and see us in your new paint outfit!

Is there an age limit for your classes?

We have kid’s specific classes for our younger audiences that are noted as 'Family Days' on our calendar for ages 7+; our regular public classes require all guests to be at least 16 years old.

Do you allow people to come and observe and not paint?

Due to our seating capacity we do not allow people to attend our painting classes with out a reservation. Every person needs their own reservation for family days.
