Meet Jennifer!

Hi, I’m Jennifer! You can also call me Jen or Jenny. I’ll also answer to an old nickname that I love, which is Cookie.

I’ve owned my own beauty shop in Hayden since 2008, but I’ve been a hairdresser for almost 24 years and I absolutely love my clients. The support that I receive from them and the ability to be creative with my job is fantastic!

I’ve had an interest in all things art and I’ve wanted to be an artist since a young age. As early as winning a Burger King coloring contest at the age of 8 to being part of the team at Pinot’s Palette at 46, I've never missed an opportunity to be involved in the arts. Every elective in school was an art class. Every spare area or room in every place I’ve ever lived has had an area set up for art. I’ve become quite the collector of art supplies and I’m always reading up on or trying a new technique. I have the most random tips with acrylic, watercolor, pen & ink, mixed media, and journaling.

Everything I look at has shape and contour, hue and value, texture and beauty. How can a person not see that everything is art? That every person is capable of creating art? That is what is so fun about a paint and sip studio…artwork is broken down into steps using a fun, friendly, and comfortable setting to where people can see what they are truly capable of themselves. It is such a joyful feeling to see the smile on a person’s face after they’ve finished their own masterpiece. Cheers!
