Happy Birthday, Vincent

Vincent VanGogh is a big inspiration for us at Pinot's Palette. His impressive collection of works and his uniquely developed style of painting has made huge impact on our artists. So many of our Pinot's paintings are either renditions of his beautiful artwork, or done in his style of large, expressive brushstrokes, and bold colors. This man was not financially successful with his art within his lifetime, but since his death in 1890, his art has gained immense value to the art world. In 1990, the Portrait of Doctor Gachet sold at auction for 82.5 million dollars. His 37 years of life were of value to art and to mental illness awareness. He continues to live through our art, and his artistic passion is ours. His birthday would have been March 30. Thank you Vincent for your art and heart.
