At Pinot's Palette Tyler we now offer a candle making experience before every class. For just $20 you can add on a candle. Choose your fragrance and pour your own candle with all natural soy-wax. Candles burn up to 40 hours and make a great gift. Arrive to your painting class 30 minutes early to have time to pour your candle. Candle will set during class and you will leave with a painting and an amazing smelling new candle.

What are your studio office hours?

Studio office hours are 10am-2pm Monday-Saturday

How long is a typical class?

Most Pinot’s Palette classes in Tyler last about two to three hours, depending on the painting. This gives guests time to relax, socialize, and complete their artwork with step-by-step guidance.

What is included in a class?

All painting supplies, canvas, and instruction are included in your Pinot’s Palette class in Tyler. Guests simply arrive ready to have fun and create their own masterpiece.

What do I need to bring to class?

We provide the canvas, easel, brushes, paints, and apron for the class. All you need to bring are any drinks and/or appetizers you might want during the class. We also provide the wine glasses, corkscrews, ice buckets & we have plates, napkins, and silverware.

Can I bring something other than wine to drink?

You can bring wine, beer, liquor. Also non-alcoholic beverages are welcome at Pinot's Palette. There will be a large ice bucket to put beverages in during the class. We do expect all painters to be responsible with alcohol on and off the premises.

What should I wear to class?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing to your Pinot’s Palette class in Tyler that you don’t mind getting a little paint on. Aprons are provided, but painting can be a hands-on activity.

What days are classes held?

At Pinot's Palette Tyler we have classes everyday. Little Brushes are held on Saturday and Sunday afternoons and anytime the kids are out of school. Check calendar for specific dates.

What does a class cost?

At Pinot's Palette Tyler, 2-hour classes cost $37-$40 per painter. 3-hour classes cost $45-$50 per painter. Little Brushes are $30 per painter. Project Pet is $65 per painter.

Is there an age limit for the normal public sessions?

At Pinot's Palette Tyler, we do have kid's specific classes (Little Brushes), our public classes have the following age requirements. Our evening classes are designed to be enjoyed as a fun night out for adults. Children 8-17 yrs. are welcome when accompanied by an adult. Children of all ages are welcome with their parents at any of our Little Brushes classes.

How do I sign up for a class?

Signing up is easy. Go to the Pinot's Palette Tyler website and tap "register now" on the upcoming event you are interested in or the calendar image on the day you plan to attend. Follow online instructions. Contact us if you have trouble completing your order and we will walk you through the process.

When do I need to arrive for a class?

We recommend you arrive 30 minutes before class starts to allow time for you to get settled in and mingle before the painting starts.

Can I show up late?

Painting starts promptly, so you'll have to catch up on your own if you arrive late.

Is there reserved seating?

Yes, at Pinot's Palette Tyler we have your easel set up for you at your spot before you arrive for class. If you have friends attending the class that you’d like to sit by, you can let us know when you book the class or you can send us an email (…just make sure to give us at least 24 hours notice).

What is the cancellation policy?

Pinot's Palette Tyler's cancellation policy is as follows: For public classes, a full refund can occur if notification of cancellation occurs at least 24 hours before class starts. If you need to cancel on the class day the only option is to transfer to a later class which will incur a $10 rescheduling fee. No Show will result in loss of payment. Deposit's for private parties are nonrefundable. You may move the party to a different day or time if available. Project Pet Classes: No refunds will be given after the deadline. You may have the option to reschedule for the next Project Pet class, which will incur a $15 rescheduling fee. Failure to do so will result in loss of payment.

Are observers allowed?

No observers are not allowed in our regular paint sessions. Everyone pays and everyone paints. The exception is Little Brushes, parents may share a canvas with kids or watch kids paint, however seating may be limited for observers in kids classes.

Are walk-ins allowed?

At Pinot's Palette Tyler, if we have room, we will not turn away walk-ins, however, we discourage this practice. We assign seats and base our number of assistants on our number of reservations. In addition, classes often sell-out in the last few hours. A class with seats available in the morning could easily be sold out that evening. By the same token, if a class fails to meet a minimum of painters, it will be cancelled by noon on class day. So sign up early. We have a generous cancellation policy.

Ask us about our mini or classic party options. We can host your party in one of our public classes, potentially change the painting out to a seasonally appropriate painting of your choice and have your group seated altogether at the front two tables.

Can I choose the painting for my private event?

Yes, hosts at Pinot’s Palette in Tyler can select a painting from our private party gallery. We even offer customization options. This allows you to tailor the experience to your celebration or team.

Pinot’s Palette Tyler has Paint at Home Kits (DIY): Follow step-by-step video instructions at your pace, pick up materials at the studio or we can deliver locally to 1 address for a group. Ask about our group discounted rates.

How do I book my party?

At Pinot's Palette Tyler a $100 nonrefundable deposit secures your date and goes toward your party total. We can waive the deposit for corporate events and schools that need to pay all in one transaction.

What is the cost of a private event?

Pricing will vary depending on age of painters (under 9, 10-15, 16+), number of painters, what you're painting on, and party package selected. Along with any added upgrades. Party cost is determined by party package selected and your total number of painters. Kids parties average $30 per painter, while adults average $40 per painter though costs will vary.

Do parties on Friday & Saturday nights cost more?

Yes, at Pinot's Palette Tyler Friday & Saturday 7–9pm parties have a $200 premium fee due to high demand.

When is your monthly calendar made public?

At Pinot's Palette Tyler our calendar generally posts a month in advance. Join our email list and receive a link each month to the new calendar.

What other events do you have besides paint & sip classes?

Our Pinot’s Palette studio in Tyler offers specialty workshops such as chunky blanket making and other creative experiences in addition to traditional painting. These hands-on events are perfect for guests looking for something different.
