Artist Spotlight: Caitlin Mouri

Caitlin Mouri is a self-taught artist who has been working with acrylic paint for over ten years. Though she enjoys all mediums of art, she prefers to work with acrylic and watercolor. Caitlin is also an accomplished scientist in addition to being an outstanding artist. She received her BS in Biology from Berkley, and is currently taking classes in Interior Design at UCLA. Her goal is to be accepted into Cal Poly’s school of architecture.
One of Caitlin’s favorite things about working at Pinot’s Palette is seeing people’s confidence grow as they work on a painting. “Many people think when they walk in here that they won’t be able to do it, and it’s great to see painters realize their potential and really love what they created,” Caitlin says. “Getting paid to paint is a great perk as well,” she adds with a laugh.
