Fundraiser For Womanspace Included In Pinot’s Palette Princeton Open Studio Event
On Friday, July 22nd, Pinot’s Palette Princeton held its first Open Studio for everyone coming to Forrestal Village that day. Of course there were canvases to paint as well as door prizes awarded. Visitors could also enter a Masterpiece Raffle to win a special Pinot's Palette Van Gogh painting.
Additionally, an important component of the day's activities was the sale of paintings, created by the Pinot’s Palette Princeton artists, with all proceeds donated to Womanspace--a local organization that provides help for women, men, and families impacted by domestic and sexual violence. Womanspace is the only agency with staff specifically trained to assist victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Mercer County. The mission of Womanspace is to prevent abuse, protect families, and change lives through empowerment and a safety net of supportive services.
The day was certainly a success with 30 paintings purchased by attendees.
