Earth Day and Why we love to Paint Landscapes

Earth Day is April 22nd! Regardless of how you may feel about climate change you have to admit the Earth sure is beautiful place. What better way to celebrate the planet we call home than to paint a pretty picture of it!

When we paint landscapes magical things happen in our brains that make us happy. We are taking time to recognize the beauty of the world. If stopping to smell the flowers is good us, then imagine how good it is to stop and create flowers of our very own. And why stop with flowers?

Painting is a unique kind of therapy that builds confidence and creativity. It’s a little thing that forces us to branch out and see what we are capable of. In a world where it can be hard to finish things, a painting is a perfect project to make you feel great.

Painting a landscape is like writing a love letter to the world. It makes you love the Earth more. After all, where would be if we didn’t have the Earth?
