Tell us about yourself: I'm a sometimes-stay-at-home mother of 3 lively children, and I'm married to my best friend!
How long have you worked at Pinot’s Palette? It will be 3 years in October
Favorite artist: it's hard to choose just one, but one of the more well known artists I love is Van Gogh.
Favorite Pinot’s Palette memory: my first Christmas season working at Pinot's, we had a class that was wall-to-wall people. During one quiet moment of the class, someone started singing a Christmas Carol and within a few seconds everyone was singing along. The music was turned off and it was just a whole class of people singing together in the moment. It gave me chill bumps!
Other hobbies besides painting: I love to sing and play the piano, and I enjoy designing and sewing clothes for my kiddos.
Favorite Pinot’s painting to teach: any of the Starry Night paintings! People are familiar with the Van Gogh painting and are so surprised that they can recreate that in our studios!
What does being an artist mean to you? It's so important to be able to express myself with my creativity. It helps me keep tabs on my thoughts and feelings and know who I am.
