Introducing:: ‘Little Artist Workshops’ This March!
Our painting and wine classes have been a huge hit since the franchise's opening in 2009, and we love all of you for coming out to support us at our Brick location!
While we LOVE the concept of 'paint and sip’, unfortunately, our regular public classes are for those 18 years old and up.
That's why WE’RE SO EXCITED to share with you, something NEW that’s coming your way this MARCH!
Introducing: Our Little Artist Workshops!
These unique and educational classes are designed to teach young art lovers about the masters and paint in their styles.
In this 4 session series, Little Artists ages 7-13 learn about different famous artists and will get to create some art of their own, following the same styles and techniques as the masters!
The sessions are just $100 for all four and includes all art supplies, including the step-by-step directions that anyone can follow!
These special classes take place, every Wednesday in March (that’s the 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th)
From 5:30pm - 7:30pm at our studio in Brick Township.
Your child will get to interact with others their age while letting their inner-artists run free as they learn about the masters and express themselves on a canvas.
They'll be creating their masterpieces on mini canvases, measuring 8”x8”.
By the end of the month, your child will have 4 new handmade works of art to show off to loved ones, hanging them throughout the house, or displaying all 4 together in a space.
However they choose to show off their masterpieces, they’re sure to be proud of what they accomplished and may even teach you a thing or two about Van Gogh or Monet!
The paintings and masters we’ll be learning about can be seen above, and include:
*Claude Monet
Your child will learn about Monet and Impressionism, then create their own mini version of Claude Monet’s ‘Waterlilies’, using soft colors, quick brushstrokes, and basic shapes like circles and lines.
The end result will be something truly special and will look great in any space it’s displayed!
*Vincent Van Gogh
Your kids will LOVE Van Gogh’s Post-Impressionistic style of bright colors and quick brushstrokes of Vincent Van Gogh, wrapped up in the form of a lovely tropical painting. Colorful, fun, and fun of life!
*Salvador Dali
The kiddos are sure to enjoy all of Mr. Dali’s artwork as they take a look into ‘Surrealism’ and learn that things don’t always have to “make sense” in art, and that there are endless ways to create things and express yourself when it comes to painting.
*Roy Lichtenstein
For this younger age of artists, ‘Pop Art’ will likely be the most fun for them! The clean lines, primary colors, and comic-like style of the work is easy to look at and fun to create! Be surprised with the text that your child chooses to place in their ‘thought bubble’ as they make their painting, one-of-a-kind.
