What Home Dècor Colors Are Trending For 2018
According to an article in HouseBeautiful magazine there are several colors trending for 2018 that caught our interest. Not that we suggest you change the colors of your walls or furniture with what is trending, but you can use the suggested colors to accent your home and freshen up your spaces. For example, Benjamin Moore’s “Caliente” is supposed to make you feel special like the “red carpet treatment” - it is a color full of energy and inspires total confidence. Another suggestion is Black Chiffon - a gray-black that is reminiscent of shadows which can add warmth to any room. It is tailored and masculine but not cave-like. It can be used for objects such as a built-in book case, which accents a room nicely when paired with lighter colored floors and gold overhead light. These are just two of the 19 colors mentioned in the article.
Are you looking for a way to easily use two of the above colors in your home? We would like to suggest joining us on Thursday, February 21 from 7 to 9PM as we paint “Ikebana Bliss” - a minimalist piece that uses both the “Caliente” red and the “Black Chiffon” tones in a painting inspired by Japanese water marbling and Ikebana. This is done on a Custom 10x30 Canvas, which will add class and beauty one of your walls with two of the trending colors! Pinot’s Palette is the premier Paint and Sip location in the Santa Clarita Valley that offers step-by-step instruction lead by one of our local professional artists and includes a wine a beer bar (as well as non-alcoholic beverages). You don’t have to have previous art experience to go home with a beautiful painting created by you that will update and freshen up your home in an easy, fun and inexpensive way. Bring your own snacks and your significant other or friends and come for a fun night of entertainment. If this painting doesn’t speak to you, check out our calendar and choose something that does and join us as we Paint. Sip. Have Fun!
