CASA Kane County BIO:
CASA Kane County is a nonprofit volunteer organization that has been advocating for the best interests of abused and neglected children within the Juvenile Court system since 1988. CASA Kane County recruits, trains, and supervises community volunteers who serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates and Guardians ad Litem (CASA/GAL) for children who are in court due to abuse, neglect or private guardianship. CASA Kane County’s 230 CASA/GAL volunteers are serving over 600 children throughout Kane County annually.

Literacy Volunteers of Fox Valley BIO:
Literacy Volunteers Fox Valley was established in 1986. Their mission is to help individuals in the region acquire and validate the literacy skills that they need to function more effectively in contemporary U.S. society. They want to equip and empower individuals who are otherwise unable to participate fully in our community. Through trained volunteers, staff and the generosity of our many supporters they offer one-to-one tutoring focusing on reading, writing, speaking and understanding in English.

Not All Wounds Bleed BIO:
Not All Wounds Bleed is a non-profit agency which was founded in 2015. Their mission is to create a centralized database of information and resources. As part of this mission they want to help everyone coping with PTSD by helping to raise awareness about PTSD and in doing so hopefully break the stigma surrounding this disorder.

Frequently Asked Questions

Check out our FAQs to learn more about what to expect from your Pinot's Palette experience or feel free to call the studio to speak to a member of our staff.

  • What safety measures are in place at the studio?

We clean all surfaces and wash the aprons frequently. We haven’t gone back to full capacity so that everyone has a little more space from their neighbors. We use temperature stickers in our dishwasher that lets us know the temperature reached 160 degrees or hotter to ensure any possible virus traces are eradicated.

  • How do I sign up for a class?

It's as easy as clicking on "Find A Location" at the top of the screen, select your location, and click the "View Full Calendar" link. This will display the calendar for that location. Select which painting you would like to paint and click "Add To Cart" Follow the on-screen directions to complete the order. Contact us if you have trouble completing your order and we will walk you through the process.

  • What do I need to bring to class?

We provide the canvas, easel, brushes, paints, and apron for the class. We have a bar where you can purchase beer and wine. You are welcome to bring your own appetizers. There will be bar snacks available to purchase.

  • Is there an age limit for the public classes?

Yes, we are an art entertainment studio. We do have kid’s specific classes, but the normal public classes are geared towards eight and up. Must be 21 to purchase alcohol. Check our calendar for kids classes where the age requirement is six and up. We recommend six and up for our Open Studio Events. Please call the studio to discuss younger aged children.

  • What is the cancellation policy for public classes?

Pinot's Palette cancellation policy is as follows: A full refund can occur if notification of cancellation occurs at least 48 hours before class start. Or you can have your reservation put on hold for another class within the next 30 days. Cancellation within 48 hours, but no later than 3 hours before class, is only available as a credit for a future class. If you do not show up for class you will forfeit a credit for future use. If you are more than 15 minutes late for a class you will be considered a no-show..
